LevelSet assessments are a great way for teachers to gauge students' progress through the year. Teachers can assign a test at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year.
In the Math Catalog, each grade level has three LevelSet assessments that a teacher can assign:
The letter after the title refers to the grade level (A = Kindergarten, B = Grade 1, etc).
There are recommended dates to assign each assessment.
-
Beginning of the year assessments should be administered between August 1st and September 30th.
-
Middle-of-the-year assessments should be administered between December 1st and January 31st.
-
End-of-the-year assessments should be administered between May 1st and June 30th.
After completing the LevelSet Assessment, a Quantile® measure will be calculated for each student. To see more details on Quantile measures, proceed to this article: Quantile Measures
